    After booking through Hotels.com, it was found that the motel did not receive my reservation (I called two days before my stay to make sure my reservation I booked a few weeks prior was all set). Long story short, it was due to technology. After Hotels.com contacted Longhouse Lodge and got the reservation squared away, the kind gentleman who runs the hotel called me back 10 minutes later to apologize and gave me a free upgrade - something he did not have to do.
    The room was really nice and clean, and the bedroom was comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this place after the wonderful service and experience I received. I will certainly stay here again!
